Neris Regional Park encompasses Lake Neris with its beautiful natural surroundings, small villages and historical treasures of old Lithuania. It is a real pleasure to enjoy unique nature and tranquility, beautiful landscapes that open from high banks of the river Neris only few kilometers from the city of Vilnius. Uncountable heritage objects could be reached because of exceptional location of the park between two Lithuanian capitals - old Kernavė and Vilnius. Mounds and hills, centenarian oaks, old villages and numerous barrows represent old historical times, ancestor’s way of life and customs.
